How I Support Our Advisors
Running a successful practice involves a massive amount of behind-the-scenes regulatory and administrative work that can easily pull an advisor away from their clients. As a Director of Supervision at Innovative Financial Group (IFG), I specialize in managing those critical, non-client-facing necessities. I support our network by handling onboarding logistics for new representatives and support staff, managing Outside Business Activities (OBAs), and conducting comprehensive Advisor Practice Reviews.
Advisors typically come to me for help navigating branch exam preparations, managing ADV 2Bs, or coordinating Support Center tickets to keep their U4s fully updated. Whether you need to untangle a complex compliance requirement or simply need to know exactly who to contact to get a back-office issue resolved, I am here to take those tasks off your plate.

Professional Background & Expertise
Will brings an incredible 26 years of dedicated experience in the financial services industry to the IFG leadership team. Before joining the firm, he built a deep compliance foundation working within an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) at a Transamerica Financial Advisors producer group, as well as managing compliance for a Signator producer group. His major area of expertise centers on helping advisors seamlessly comply with complex FINRA and broker-dealer rules, ensuring their practices remain fully protected and regulatory-sound.

Will is widely known for being intelligent, funny, and a total straight shooter. He cuts through the noise to deliver honest, reliable guidance with a great sense of humor.
Outside of compliance and supervision, Will leads an active, high-energy lifestyle:
- The Sports Fan: He is a massive sports enthusiast and loves passionately cheering on his favorite teams: the KC Chiefs and University of Kansas basketball.
- Outdoor Adventure: When he travels, he skips the standard tourist spots in favor of high-energy biking adventure vacations.
- Fun Fact: Will is definitely not afraid of a challenge—literally! A fun fact that most people don’t know about him is that he has actually walked on hot coals several times while attending Tony Robbins’ Mastery courses.
